Amazon Seller Practice
Amazon Seller Attorney
When your account goes down, your listings disappear, or your funds stop moving, you need counsel who has handled the matter before — not another appeal template.
Selling on Amazon means operating inside a system that can suspend your business without a hearing, freeze your money without notice, and accept a competitor's accusation at face value. Most sellers only discover how little recourse Seller Central offers after the account is already down.
We represent sellers through the full arc of those problems: suspensions and listing reinstatement, inauthentic and counterfeit complaint defense, intellectual property notices and retractions, Schedule A lawsuits and temporary restraining orders, and arbitration to recover funds Amazon is holding. We have reinstated more than 200 seller accounts and recovered millions in held funds. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

Arbitration & Funds overviewFrequently asked questions
- What does an Amazon seller attorney actually do?
- An Amazon seller attorney handles the matters that sit beyond Seller Central: drafting appeals that meet Amazon's evidentiary standard, negotiating retractions with rights owners, defending federal Schedule A lawsuits and asset freezes, and filing arbitration to recover withheld funds. Those remedies require a lawyer, not an appeal service.
- Do you work with sellers outside New York?
- Yes. Amazon matters are governed largely by the Business Solutions Agreement and by federal intellectual property law, so we represent sellers across the country in appeals, complaint defense, arbitration, and IP disputes. Court appearances are evaluated case by case, and we associate local counsel where a specific court requires it.
- How quickly should I contact a lawyer after a deactivation?
- Immediately, and before submitting another appeal. Every rejected submission becomes part of the record a later reviewer reads, and inconsistent appeals make reinstatement harder. Early involvement also preserves options that close quickly, including challenging a court-ordered asset freeze before the preliminary injunction hearing.
- What does representation cost?
- It depends on the matter. A single-issue appeal, a complaint retraction negotiation, an arbitration filing, and a contested federal defense are very different pieces of work. We discuss fees in the initial consultation and give a candid view of what a realistic outcome is worth relative to the cost of pursuing it.
- Can you help with my trademark and business setup too?
- Yes, and it frequently matters to the Amazon side. We have registered 293 trademarks and formed 203 companies. Sellers who own their marks, control their photography, and hold written supplier authorizations are substantially harder to attack through Amazon's complaint systems.
